Salt and sugar on your cheek
Tires on the road
I guess this is what it feels like
To be perfectly alone
^^ I love the opening line, how it's opposites and how it creates a sort of confusion already. Not to mention, taste is something i really like in poems because it's different and it brings people further in.
Doing 120 on a hillside
Air being pulled out the window
Hit the gas make a hard right
They'll guess but never know
^^ Like Breanne said, this part really reminds me of Alaska..
As she's flying through the layers
Of life and love and air
The car prepares to crumple up
But she doesn't care
^^ The last stanza reminds me of dreams I've had and also of things that i used to feel a while ago..it's that feeling of dying but you're so ready for it that it doesnt really matter anyway..
"What's it like to die alone?"~ Escape the Fate
^^ I love that quote too..*nods* one of my favourite from escape the fate.
jesse..i like this one, a lot. it means something. *shrugs*
