Artificial smile

by Montse   Oct 21, 2008

As she walks down the hall way
the other girls all watch her with envy

Admiring her perfect spare
that makes every boy stop and stare

Light clear skin without a single blemish
to be her is every girls wish

Her perfect white teeth lye beneath her lushes lips
in every guys fantasy she always strips

She's every guy's deepest obsession
they all want her to be the one about that theres no question

The way she moves her hips makes all the guys drool
the girls try to mock her but end up looking like fools

She laughs at what she sees
she laughs because they havent seen behind the scenes

They don't realize the makeup is there for a reaseon
That every morning she wakes up to the same routine

Applies her mascara and eye linear
and finally applies her artificial smile

A smile that she removes at the end of each day
When she walks in her room every color turns to gray

Inside her room she allows herself to be
she cries and cries endlessy

Her bestfriends are the walls
the only ones who watch her as she falls

When she's alone another person comes to life
a broken fragile girl that always seems to hide

A lonely girl whose only company is the razor sharp blade
It helps her to feel alive it helps her to escape

She slowly presses the blade against her thigh
A small smile spreads across her face because these cuts are easy to hide

The warm blood makes her feel ecstatic
The physical pain that it causes her makes her feel delighted

Curious to know what happens she cuts a little deeper
Perhaps she will always remain a sleeper

She's tires of acting she's alright
Tired of caring the fake smile that makes thing appear right

She's lost in a world where people only see with their eyes
she wants someone to see with their heart and discover the lies

She lost and needs to be found
She's tired of pretending to be another europhoric girl in a crowd.

I only rated it a three..... I believe the story deserves a 5. I loves it... but it was a little choppy to me, and i little difficult to finish because of its choppiness
