The Perfection of Imperfections

by Marly   Oct 21, 2008

Well my legs aren't getting any taller
And my tummy's not getting any smaller
But I feel perfect around you
My skin's not feeling its best
And my hair looks like a birds nest
but I know I'm perfect to you
When I look in the mirror and don't see much of a girl
When I wake up in the morning and my hair just doesn't curl
I know you'll still smile at me
When I outfits don't look right
When my old jeans fit too tight
I know you'll still want me
Because you are the one that always sees
The perfection of imperfections that live within me
And that is something no one else has seen before
Because you love me as I am
And don't change me even though you can
And that's why I love being yours.
