Sadness and loss, pain and depression,
Anguish and grief, caused by obsession.
Crazy theories, stupid accusations,
Obscenities, character assassinations.
Lonely hearts, little lost cause,
Angry shouting, slamming doors.
Giant thud, someone's dead,
Now lies peacefully, in his bed.
Life is lost, but who's to blame?
He doesn't want to play this game.
Pointed fingers, its all his fault,
Innocent person, young adult.
Tried and punished, locked up and confused,
Can see no day light, feels so abused.
Proven guilty, an innocent boy,
Left and forgotten like a childhood toy.
My best friend is dead, I'm forever grieving,
I can never forgive him for leaving.
But the blame is not on you, my friend,
It on the courts and make pretend.
You're kind and loving, always caring,
With so much love, you're always sharing.
Now they've put the blame on you,
You're all alone, don't know what to do.
But keep your smile for a better day,
When all this pain has gone away.
Hold your head up high in pride,
In me, my friend, you can always confide.
He sits alone, thinks of better days,
Knowing what he should have said, in so many ways.
But deep downs he's smiling, brightly in his heart,
Knowing that no matter what, his love will never part.
