Sweet Pillow

Near the lake...
trying to fake
a smile that meant to make
a sign for his life's sake

Near the shadow...
he tried to hide
his own shape, because he was afraid
to feel the pain that your words break

Beyond the distance
trying to hide...
the weakness of his other side
acting blind, till he cried

Behind the million tears he dropped
and all the heart strings he stopped
especially her heart he cropped
and like the raindrops she fell
waiting everyday near the bell
looking for his shape to appear

someday she really had to feel
the meaning of her biggest fear
that suddenly came up and will never disappear

he loved her more than life can mean
loved her, like she was a queen
but one day he had to wean

she loved him more than her life
he's the reason why her core was so rife
But one day she had to share the knife

He died while he was hugging her sweet pillow
blood streamed and started to billow
covered her heart and she couldn't swallow
and she died while she was holding his sweet pillow
