In His Name

by Lyrical Heart   Oct 22, 2008

The broken glass is on the floor,
She won't come here anymore.
I slit her throat, cut her out,
This land has always been in drought.
He was mine, my dearest love,
As pale and gentle as a dove.
I will kill, in his name,
It's so easy, this bloody game.
As they run to break his heart,
I am waiting in the dark.
A flash of the knife, a scream, a swear;
Another hour will never be wasted there.
