Brown Sands

by Corinne   Oct 23, 2008

Brown Sands
Lifting hands
To hold as we walk the heat drenched beach
Sun risin'
Red horizon
Nearly within our striding reach

Footprints measure
Our mortal treasure
That is ours for a brief time
Between our toes
A mystery unfolds
Of rich, Brown Sands so fine
