Another life

I need to get out of this place
I need to go somewhere else
Somewhere no one knows me
Somewhere I can start over new

I've made so many mistakes in my life
I regret almost all of them
If I could erase them,
I would do it in a blink of an eye

I've dreamed about going so many places
Maybe this is my chance to go see the world
I could change my life into an adventure
One city a week, new friends, new chances

This all sound so great, so tempting
I would have done it if I had a lot of money
For now, I just have to make the best of this life
Try very hard to be a good person

I still need to get out of this place
I still need to go somewhere else
This somewhere else would be with my real friends
Someone who loves me for my mistakes
