Runing.

by Nicole   Oct 23, 2008

I had to run.
Run, and not stop,
until I was far away.
I couldn't let my pain
catch up.
I couldn't stand
it anymore.
I couldn't watch as my,
once perfect life,
fell apart.
I couldn't protect
myself now, I was
too weak.
I couldn't stay,
and watch it get
worse.
I couldn't live in a place,
where I was alone.
I had to run.

Love the idea of this poem, the line
    "Run, and not stop,
    until I was far away.
    I couldn't let my pain
    catch up."

I have really felt that before like you need to do something to distract you and take you from your pain, but when you stop your pain catches up with you.

I really like how you broke up the lines, it really makes you take your time, and take in every line.

Great job and keep up the good work
