Turn the other cheek

A man's dignity
gravely buried
intellectually stripped
to play zombie
5 fingers in 10 holes
plug the leak
perform corporate transfusion
while he bleeds
scores held back
by sheer steel will
bite the bullet
screaming 'just do it'
nurse the slap
then turn the other cheek
insanity stalled
till end of week
