My childhood playmate, partner in crime, other half.
I'm surrounded by memories of good times and laughs.
But as we grew up, we went our separate ways.
Time has flown by; Years, minutes and days.

You were not just my friend, but my family too.
My dear cousin, please tell me, how could this have happened to you?
The last time I saw you was too long ago.
The person you've become, I will never know.

You were taken last night. God only knows why.
No time was given to us to say our goodbyes.
To go on without you may be hard, but we will all try our best.
But now is time to lay your young soul to rest.

Our lives will go on. You memory will stay.
And each night before bed, for you I will pray
That God takes you straight up to the place you belong.
In Heaven you will wait. You will see us before long.
