Withered Rose

by XXXNellieXXX   Oct 25, 2008

So magnificently red, the petals so beautiful
It blossomed for months and the very touch
The sun smothered her so much
The water flowed and even brighter she glowed

The sun began to dim
The water ceased its flowing
Look at the rose, it has stopped it's glowing
The petals are falling, the rose had faded

The leaves begin to fall
As the head is bowed with awful
She can't live to see tomorrow
The vase grows cold and dry,
She says to the world, "Adieu, Alvida, Sayonnara, Goodbye!!"
