Cutting leaves scars

I cut to block my pain
but cutting leaves scars
over and over again
leaving wounds behind

is there a better way
cos i cant find it
scars are here to stay
until cutting finds a way

for now it will get me through
hoping that i will stop
if only you i could see you
all this pain would be gone
