Knowing you could slip away

by Baby Rainbow   Oct 26, 2008

I see you from my window
crying as I watch you go,
early in the morning light
or late in the darkest night.

The last time I could see you
now I know thats true.
Only I think the end is nearer
'cos your hardly ever here.

I go to school knowing all day
that right now you could slip away.
Do you how that makes me feel
knowing this nightmare is for real?

So, you wrote this when you were 14?? No one so young should feel such pain, but so many do. It is truly a pure talent of yours to convey such pain and sorrow that only you know, and yet it makes the reader know what you were going through.

" early in the morning light
or late in her darkest night"

Stunning, simply stunning words to choose at such am young age.
