Dear school nurse

You seen the bruises
on my arms today
you seen the cuts
on my wrists today
you seen the fear
in my eyes today
you seen the pain
in my movements today
you seen all the signs
of my abuse today
you sent me back
to my classroom today
you ignored my cries
for someone's help today
you could have saved my life
today

    I've never been abused so i dont understand how it feels but this poem shows the pain very well. The repitition of today was powerful and i loved the last line

    "you could have saved my life
    today"

    it bought the poem to a nice close and left a very clear message.
    Short but sweet

    Just one thing wrong thou - i think u misspelt one of your words

    "you ignored my cried" should it be cries?

    but apart from that a gd poem

    Awww.... what a useless nurse. good poem, i really liked the repeatition. i know someone who should get fired, stupid nurse. nice poem. good flow and a great meaning. 5/5 ~KM~
