all gone because of the mistakes and regrets

i chose the wrong one in the end
i let my emotions get in the way
and now i must pay
now i'm unable to walk back
because it was to late
she wasn't like you
she didn't look like you
she didn't smell like you
she didn't hold me like you
she didn't sing like you
she didn't yell at me like you
she didn't have your aura
she wasn't you no matter what!
today i write this
tomorrow i'll write about this
things just keep going forward
and never will it go back
someday this will be a memory
just like those times
we shared and laugh together
and fell in love together
