Anguish

by Max Krakers   Oct 28, 2008

Skin soft like satin,
Eyes auburn black.
Face almost flawless,
Safe littlest speck.

Lips red as ruby's,
Teeth white as pearls.
Hair made of charcoal,
With lingering curls.

All of this beauty,
Lost to blind eyes.
Love never answers,
A dying heart's cries.

As you beat your eyes,
Sight is regained.
Hope is rekindled,
And cure is explained.

Fair and unblemished,
Like silk as smooth.
Lined with black curtains,
A face made to soothe.
