Smile.

by StandStill   Oct 29, 2008

I'm going to write you a happy poem,
haven't done that in quite some time.
Some bouncy, trouncy, goofy thing
with really crappy rhymes.

I think I may even consider the bestest rhyme..
shall we think what it is? (Boy).
Surely this is a mystery...
A question as hard as this (Coy).

In case you were wondering, everyone,
dinosaurs and boas relate.
They're quite happy, and sappy, and snappy...
and aren't those adjectives great?

I'll admit to you, my dear reader,
happy poems don't suit me right.
But you see, you must see, my dear reader,
my best friend made me happy tonight.

A poem's a whole large mess of words,
and words are just letters compiled.
Just trying to write something happy...
trying to stop trying to make you smile.

I'll end this poem with half a smirk,
just a simple squirrel laugh about love.
Close your eyes, count to three, dearest reader...
Abuga.
