Sunlight and birds chirp happily on this day,
I'm keeping my feelings tucked safely away,
Once again the world is now starting anew,
Easing my mind with simple thoughts of you,

Hiding the sun as we all watch it cry,
Raindrops from the sadness of being alone,
Making us look for the light on our own,
Let us continue to bask in these warm rays,
