Everlasting

by Alliey May   Oct 30, 2008

Everlasting love,

I hope to partake with thee.
So blatantly shared,
Yet so precious it shall be.

Oh how I love,

How I love thee.

So much it consumes me,

And has successfully enthralled me.
How much, it cannot be measured,
A feeling I have long endeavored.

How much I love thee,

It resides at so strong a degree.
How much I love thee,
It strongly enlightens me.
I forever am changed,
Altered, and rearranged.

By your love, your perfection,

Your choice of direction.
Your personality, your wit,
Which together, perfectly fit.

My love for thee,

Is something so sacred.
A treasure so holy,
Something not to be wasted.

With every fiber of my body,

I love thee.

Every moment of my life,

I wish to share with thee.

Wow, im impressed, for someone with such a dispatching profile, this was not what i expected, i must admit. please understand this is a complement. Very beautiful and thoughtful, who ever this was for is a very lucky man to have a woman so thoughtful has to write a poem with such elogance and grace. i comend your talent. These days, alove poems is a dime a dozen, but a great one is far and inbetween. Makes me think of Poes Lenore, though the styles are so much differnt, the passion is the same.
