Rosebud
satin petals
closed ever so tightly
peeling away from the center
blooming

What a beautiful picture you paint of one of the most written about flowers. God surely knew what he was doing when he created the earth. These short forms of poetry are never easy to express oneself in, i think you did an excellent job well done

A lovely description of a rose, a flower of love. This flower starting off as a bud, of tightly wrapped petals, then when the time is right, it slowly unfolds, revealing its beautiful masterpiece. I muse now that it is indeed a crime of nature to then cut this stem from its mother and present it as a gift of love??

Well done on this form..it just show how using fewer words, speaks volumes.

    Take care
