They all said
The same thing over and over
"I love you."
And then broke my fragile heart.
But then he came in through my locked door
And made me trust again
Gradually I learned to love and trust
This wonderful guy
I stopped crying myself to sleep
Tears weren't always in my eyes
And I didn't have to put on my mask everyday
He built up my fragile heart
Until it was strong and whole
And I realized he really did love me
He wasn't just some fool
My love for him is strong and true
And I hope I won't ever make that stupid mistake
Of loving one of those fools.
