To Be With You

by Jessica   Oct 31, 2008

As you lay there sleeping,
a strange feeling fills my heart.
It makes me want to be with you,
and never be apart.

I love to watch you sleep,
the peaceful look upon your face.
The way your chest rises and falls,
at a slow and steady pace.

The beat of your heart,
beneath my fingertips.
The way your tongue slips out,
and unconsciously licks your lips.

The heat of your body,
as it's pressed against mine.
The way we fit together,
and the happiness we'll find.

The feel of your hands,
as they caress my skin.
I moan and close my eyes,
knowing this isn't pretend.

The way you fit,
when you slide into me.
It makes me feel so good,
it makes me want to scream.

As you lay there sleeping,
a strange feeling fills my heart.
It makes me want to be with you,
and never be apart.

Very good flow. I would love to know if this was inspired by real feelings or if it was purely creative incentive.

The flow I found to be a bit off, but the rhyme scheme brought the whole thing right along again.

I dont know what I should give you for a rating. Part of me wants to give you a five and another part of me wants to give you a four. Understant though, if you will, that i believe you have great potential and you could go very far with your Writing.
