The First Snow

by Jessica   Oct 31, 2008

The snow coming down
In sheets of white
I gaze upon this beauty
But somehow it doesn't seem right

Outside the world is beautiful
The first snow of the year
But inside my world is crashing
And from my eye slips the first tear

This tear is just the first
There's many more to come
I'm afraid if they don't stop
These tears will create a flood

The snow reminds me
Of an inevitable pain
My heart grows cold
Just like the freezing rain

No one can save me
This is my pain to bare
I shouldn't feel this hurt
This is so unfair

Winter Wonderland
Well....not for me
Inside the life is dying
This heart will never be free

This poem is written with so much pain, nonetheless; its good and speeks volumes to me
