My Lucid Prayer

by gracey grey   Oct 31, 2008

Give me serenity oh my maker
in this place I call home-
my sanctuary, my abode of clouds
Here, I have tasted bitter sweet givings
Here, I have felt lukewarm tidings
Here, I have seen walls crumble
Here, I have heard enough wails

Guide me dear father
in this maze I call home
where choices are but just two
Here ,confusion outshines
Here, lights seems dim
Here, tears fall unnoticed
Here, blood does not matter

Help me stand oh my redeemer
in this haze I call home
So tired of this oblivion
I know not where I am going
So lost and empty. So alone.
Comfort me my silent friend
Never ever leave this wretched soul.

Wow i didn't enjoy reading that at all, how can one person feel so abandoned all the time.
It seems you need to escape this *home*.
TC this was a very emotional poem almost an outcry for help.
I found it to be very sad and surely hope that things improve for you in the near future.
