Becareful When You Say It

We say its different every time
And that may be the case
Feelings change from everyone
But the memories don't erase

You know how you used to feel
For that one and the last
And now with this new person
The feelings don't contrast

But as soon as we get up high
We say the same old thing
Tell them that we love them
Let our hearts take wings

We use the word too lightly
Because it IS different every time
But if we end up changing our minds
It feels like we were lying

Maybe you do love them
Just make sure its true
It won't always be your mind changing
And they could end up hurting you.
