Green

by KaceyBelladonna   Nov 1, 2008

Green, green, green, green.
Lime sour green, grey green oceans,
Sparkling green grass; dew gems,
Florescent neon green lighting up the scene.

Green-black pines, mossy green bark,
Fern green ground; the leaves fall without a sound.

What's in my head cannot be said
Invisible thoughts, a blank canvas
I improvise with special FX;
My thoughts, I line them up,
Criminal like, against a green screen.

It all comes down to green;
Life in spring shoots,
Grass covered graves in death.
Dirty green money: the breath of nations.
Time to go green for the greater good.
Step off the cliff, I'm stuck in the Emerald Isle.
What are we but green's child?
