As the artist
Dips his tool
Into the paint

Soft strokes
Glide against
The coarseness of the
Canvas

Sky blue
Spreads across
As the picture
Starts to collide
And become life

A little boy
Sitting outside
With a smile
On his face
A beautiful
Clear blue sky
And perfect sun

The boy looks fascinated
With his toy cars
But look closer
And you will find
A tear
Coming from the corner
Of his eyes

He may look happy
But remember
Looks can
Deceive...
