She wore her scars proud a symbol of her past The thin pink scars screamed out loud that her gragile peace could not last She cracks and she breaks with each new smile Believing that with time she'd make a whole new different lifestyle One where resorting to the knife seemed far off and away Where she was happy living her life and in it she'd stay Where needing to die seemed like a dream And where when she'd cry it wouldn't turn into stream Where people weren't fake false smile and lies Where their bullshit she'd take and honesty she'd find in their eyes But reality drags her back and gives her a cold hard slap Being happy is what she'd lack and i her lies there was a trap November 2, 2008
