Fragile Sadness From Missing Your Face

by Stephanie   Nov 2, 2008

Don't leave a comment saying that this doesn't make sense - I know that. I'm not looking for comfort or criticism. I don't want anything.

``````````````````````````````````````
My words are twisted with sadness,
Yet, gently placed upon the blank page -
I find guidance in the things around me,
All of the wonders that bring me down.
Your face is a subtle glimpse of hell,
It continues to lurk inside my lost mind.
I'm struggling to reach the surface;
I'm still trying to leave your face behind.
I feel as if I'm writing in endless riddles,
Weaving emotions into all my darkness,
Purging away the happiness in my eyes,
And breaking myself down in your old faith.
Familiar emotions envelop me entirely,
Choking me, swallowing all of my lies.
Yet, I keep trying to push through the fog,
Fantasying what your loss will do to me.
Dear Reader: I am hopelessly lost,
And I give you permission to please find me.
    I am now reminded of why you are one of my favorite authors. I loved the perfectly organized chaos. Well done, take care. 5/5.
