Green Miles

I’m walking quite simply
roaming free without talking
you’d think
like I thought
this would be just fine
that in doing so
there would be no crime

Well there is I say
and the streets the place
where the jury judge
the defendants face
then on death row
you hear him moan

“I’m not unhappy
I’m just not smiling
I am not lonely
I’m just walking alone”

You ever get that feeling were you're just walking along in a calm balanced mood, and people seem to think you're depressed or need help of something. Maybe you're just thinking of people watching or whatever.....the crime of walking alone...yeah.
