Autumn i have found

Another autumn day
Another leaf on the ground
Another raindrop from the beautiful gray sky
Another splendor of earth I have found

Gold
Red
Yellow
Orange
Burnt
Auburn
Brown
These are the colors of inspiration I have found

It's the best time of year
Listen to the trees
The silence of the wind
in an almost musical sound
This is the song my heart has found

Crisp clean air
The smell of leaves
And rain
And the damp wet ground
This is the earthly perfume scent I have found

Listen
Smell
See
The earth
As it sings
Dances
Glows
With mirth

Bathe in its beauty
Bask in the clean and pure
Drink in the warmth
With every rhythmic heart beating pound
This is the wonder of autumn I have found

    Wow. I mean, woah, I'm starstruck. I usually don't like poetry that has no scheme, but this was really good. It connects the senses to nature through words, and creates an image of autumn which is beautifully portrayed. I'm really impressed, this was great. I bow down in the dust of the leaves of the autumn you have created.
