Princess Saturnine

by Gabba Gabba Hey   Nov 3, 2008

Swirling, whirling...

redefining consciousness,
I find my self constantly collapsing
following the inconstant lines of thought...

Whose thoughts? Whose crooked lines are these?

and why do they follow me, as I must follow them?

Smashing, mashing...

I crumble like a limestone princess
foreign and full of regret, I know I could have been stronger
Defaulting from broken, protean remedies

but confusing voices keep shouting:

La belle aube se reveille seulement apres le noirceur!

I hope that one day I can write as good as you! your language is just way up there with the best and the creativity of that french line is awe-inspiring. A clear 5!

    "redefining consciousness,"
    Amazing line.

I don't know what the last line means, but I still like this.
There's great meaning within this if you link it back to life and the situations in life.
I can't really think of anything more to comment on.

Good use of vocabulary and punctuation :) it's always great to read.
    Solid poem, 5/5
