My Family's Death

by Ashley Washer   Jun 8, 2004

I hung up the phone, knowing my dad was home.
He rushed up to my room, reeking of booze.
He hit me once ans I started to cry, I told him to stop and he asked me why.
I told him I would tell
So he hit me until I fell.
He kicked me, he hit me, he pulled out a gun and pointed it at me.
I saw my life flash before my eyes, but it was your face I saw to my surprise.
I saw his finger start to move, I knew it was all going to end.
I was on my knees and prayed to God my soul to keep.
I closed my eyes and waited for the bang, then it finally came.
I open my eyes only to see my dad was gone, no where in sight.
I pray to God for my wish came true, my soul is safe and so are you.
Now I;m in heaven, I'm here with my mom, she was killed too, eight years before not a minute to soon.
Now all thats left is my sister, theres no way to know when he will kill her, lets just hope its not before dinner.
I pray and pray to God her soul to take, if she dies before she wakes.
But now its to late, shes standing here with just one tear.
