That Night

by ShyandHurt   Nov 5, 2008

My heart races as my feet glide silently on the dark, wet asphalt.

Hair whipping across my face, stinging with every step, I run.

The frozen air burns my throat, causing me to cough every couple strides.

I finally reach where I want to be, slowing to a walk to be enveloped in a gentle hug.

My heart pounds in my chest while my cheek feels yours, my throat begins to cool while my heart sets to fire.

Long moments pass, giving me a chance to grasp my breath.

When we are both calm and steady, our eyes meet, chocolate to crystal blue.

A moment of something comparable to electricity jolts over my spine and follows your hands over the rest of my figure.

You hot lips press to mine, the rest of my body lighting to a blaze, your hands sending shivers to my skin.

We pull apart, our faces touching as we rest for a mere moment.

You wrap me in a tight embrace, emotionally and physically, pulling me closer to keep me warm.

I say I'm shivering from the cold, but really, love is the culprit.

Settling down, you press me backwards, having me on my back as you pull over me as a warm blanket would.

Bending down, you caress my lips with you own, making my shape squirm and twitch under you.

My insides are now a complete wild fire raging wherever your fingers touch me, I look for them, enjoying the feeling.

Hours later, we have finally finished showing our love.

My body is hot and tired, but my mind is full of pleasure and hopes.

Back I run, feet light as my heart flies me back home.

Never can I forget this night, the night we connected.

The night we shared our hearts.
