They come into our lives
when they depart with their families,
they become our best friends
who are there until the very end.
weather we are angry, happy, sad or confused
animals should never be abused,
they become our best friends
who make us smile when we hurt
and abuse is something that they do not deserve.
It makes me sick
to hear of animals who go through pain,
to all animal abusers:
You should feel oh so ashamed.
I became a vegetarian 6 years ago
I saw videos of make up being tested on animals
because humans were too scared,
sometimes the chemicals left them
better off dead.
But still people don't see what happens
behind closed doors
and cant get the story out of the 4 walls,
the animals remain silent
through the pain that they face
they get placed into fights to kill one another
so humans can get rich.
and after the fight they look up with sorrow filled eyes
that ask the question
why you caused them to die that night.
To anyone who abuses animals
you don't deserve life
and should know the pain you cause animals just
is not right.
We can all do something to stop the pain which
animals face,
we just need to stand up and
say enough is enough.
Help put an end to animal abuse,
help save the lives of our very best friends,
help save their lives before it reaches the end...
***I wasn't really sure where to actually put this poem but just felt i should write it. In February next year it will be 7 years since I became vegetarian, I'm not one of those people that try and force other people to believe in the same things as I, this poem is just based on my own personal opinions.
Each and every minute animals are being abused but to anyone who reads this poem, you have the ability to help animals in need so don't sit there doing nothing!!!!***
