She set herself free

by Crystal   Nov 5, 2008

She walks by as they yell hateful names.
what they don't realize is these are not games.
she laughs at them and walks away.
her mind is focused on ever word they say.
as a form of defense she continues living a lie.
every thought she comes across makes her want to die.
she makes sure that no one is in sight.
as she stays in her room and cries at night.
her parents never realized she had it rough.
until the day she had, had enough.
her minds made up she lost all hope.
trembling with fear she gets the rope.
they found her later, she was hanging in a tree.
a note left behind "don't worry now I'm free."
