Traveler (Sedoka)

by Sylvia   Nov 5, 2008

Weary traveler,
spent, no place to rest his head.
His journey will never end.

Traveled many miles,
searching for his place in life.
Destination within sight.

The Sedoka is an unrhymed poem made up of two three-line katauta with the following syllable counts: 5/7/7, 5/7/7. A Sedoka, pair of katauta as a single poem, may address the same subject from differing perspectives.

Wow, Sylvia, So short, yet so truthfully enlightening. You are so right when you say our journey will never end because that is the purpose of life itself , to venture on through personal growth. It really isnt about the destination is it, It seams to be more about what we experience along the way and how we allow each aspect to effect us
So very well writtren , Thank you for sharing
    5/5.....Jim

This is a new form to me , and you have done it so well, it looks as if your traveler has found the one destination where we shall all meet one day.
