Chocolate delight, I am,
Color of darkness and fire of autumn.
Days without sunshine,
Skies of chocolate joy, I hold.

Chocolate skin, I'm proud,
Glow an ember in all seasons,
Colored skin, I am,
Proud to be like the son of Kenya.

Chocolate in white cream nation,
I, a proud immigrant, beaming.
Fearless of the jeers from the white,
I am proud to be a brother of the Kenyan man.
