Teenage Tragedy

by Jesus Freak Forever   Nov 5, 2008

Sitting watching the world go by her
Everyone's goal was to lie to her.
She felt so alone in this world so gray,
This is possibly her worst day.
She wanted to run and totally escape.
Open now was the gate;
Her emotions now ran wild.
Everything slowed and the pain was mild.
This seemed to be her true fate,
When everything turned to pure hate.
She was now losing site,
Because she was never a true part of life.
This was never her strategy,
But merely a teenage tragedy.

    I really liked this poem. You brought emotion to it and I could feel the sadness coming from it. Many of us have felt like this at one point in our lives and this is a poem that everyone can relate to. Good job.
