So i saw your picture the other day.
&& it got me thinking about our old way.
when we were were such close friends
talking about boys and high school.
hell we thought we would rule.
we loved to cause trouble
how much did we ditch school?
and remember when you poured soda in that rich kids pool.
and when we stole from the store,
& i wasnt sure.
then we almost got caught.
what a great lesson was taught.
man you made it so much fun.
it's crazy to think that are youth is almost done.
remember flashing that guy.
trying to get high.
and then are drinking nights.
stupid, dumb fights.
and how excited we were to be able to drive.
we only could hope that we would strive.
we talked for hours, and stayed up late.
keeping track of all the girls we hate.
we hadnt even gone all the way with a guy.
and back then we werent even thinking about givin it a try.
but yet we thought we knew it all.
not knowing that we both would fall.
and we went are seprate ways.
creating our lives and building goals.
not relizing that we were being fools.
but see me and you.
i know our friendship was true.
cuz every now and then, its nice to talk to your old best friend.
and man we thought we were gunna be best friends forever.
but as we live our lives, i wont ever for get you, not now not never.
and when the memories take me back to that funny place.
i promise you my friend i wont ever forget your face.
your a part of me and im a part of you.
im glad we had a great friendship that was so true.
