They Danced

by ViolentlyDisturbed   Nov 6, 2008

Under the star light sky she danced
Her image reflecting on the water beneath the bridge where she was
Under the full moon bright he dance
His ghost in the foggy night reflected off every near by light

Into the dark she glanced
With a smile on her cold face, she saw
A man of mystery, a shadow of desire
A ghost haunting her only love

He walked into the night
Under the stars, unaware of her being
The ravens cry, his eyes bleed out
Onto the snow beneath his feet

Snow falls silently on her cheeks
But he hears it melt on her warm skin
The blood rushes from her face
His bleeding eyes meet hers!

She sees through his glassy exterior
He sees straight into her soul
She feels the beating of his heart
He hears her heart stop

Under the star light they dance
Hand in hand
Under the full moon bright they dance
Connected feet to feet

Her image reflecting on the water beneath the bridge where she was
Heavenly waters ripple onto the shore
His ghost in the foggy night reflected off every near by light
And in the dark of the night, they dance
