Hear my heart screaming

by sandra   Nov 6, 2008

Do you, do you not hear me
hear my heart screaming

I colour the skies with colours only imaginable in heaven or hell
I let the words tumble out, and then I curl up,
I curl up
Hoping for your return

Closing my eyes I grasp the bed sheet tight,
grasp the bed sheet tight and shiver in angst
shiver in angst

My mind cannot be held captive any longer
by the secrets of society
Not finding what I was after
I only yearn while my blood thickens
yearn while my blood stiffens
and my veins are alive, I suddenly feel the blood flowing through, flowing through
and all I can do is let the sun kiss my face.
