Last Soir

by Jesyka Vendetta   Nov 7, 2008

Look into the perpetual night
Feel how the darkness consumes
Filling every fiber of your being tight
Oh how deep the darkness truly looms
Can you imagine anything less
Something not so ill fated
As the swirling shadows caress
And resurface all you've hated
Everything you've repressed
Though you know of the dangers lurking
You linger still as if impressed
By your soul feeling so murky
Do you relish on the hope you'll fall
That you'll sink into an abyss so noir
Where you hear no call
On this your last soir

[for those of you who don't speak french noir=black and soir=night ^_^]

It's been a while since you wrote one- but it was worth the wait! Great job, I loved it. C'est très fantastiquo! (Bit of spanish in there too.)
