5 Months and Still Dreaming.

by Vanessa   Nov 7, 2008

5 months of
Thinking,
Failing,
Procrastination,
And pain.
I am afraid that all my words I have yet to say are now coming out.
Spilling down my face, and flooding your floor.
I am tired of trying to hide my fear of
Being alone,
fake,
And forgetting.
My dreaming carries into my day,
and colors replace the ground and sky.
I am stuck staring at a man with a picture covering his face, and were saying goodbye, and I am crying in a room as dark as his heart.
And when I wake my eyes are wet and my heart is broken,
They never let me see what happens.

    5 months of thinking,
    Failing,
    Procrastination,
    Pain.
I'm afraid that all my words
    I have yet to say
    Are now ______ out.

^Not fond of the word flooding here, especially since you use it in the next line.

Spilling down my face, flooding your floor.
Tired of trying to hide my fear
    Of being alone,
    Being fake,
    Forgetting.

    ^A few less filler words

My dreams carry into my day,
Colors replace the ground and sky
I'm stuck staring at a man with a picture covering his face, we're saying goodbye, and I am crying in a room as dark as his heart.
When I wake my eyes are wet and my heart is broken,
They never let me see what happens.

^As an example I just went through and cleaned up the lines a bit. All in all it was a nice write and you had a few good images in there:

colors replace the ground and sky

This one made me stop and think what it would be like because the ground and sky are colour, would I be floating in a void of swirling colours...very nice. Some good work.
