Salutations to one and all who write,
A warmer greeting to those who inspire,
For designing poems out of contrite,
Or poems meant to make us feel desire,
A poet is only as good as the community,
Without each other the poems are lost,
Each of us create the others opportunity,
I pray this necessity is never crossed,
With the skill I have obtained I swear,
I will help any poet who is in need,
With honesty and belief I will be fair,
And never ignore a fellow poets plead,
Every one of you is needed to pursue,
This wonderful tradition we all cherish,
So from the bottom of my heart thank you,
May this passion we share never perish.
