Looks Good

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Nov 8, 2008

So she threw the phone under her bed
I screamed what words came out
I still don't know what she said
Or what she screamed about

She went up to the bathroom
Took something hard and broke the mirror
She shut the door and closed it tight
So nobody could hear

She took a handful of sleeping pills
And ran herself a nice hot bath
But on the floor of the room
She buckled down and collapsed

She was so beautiful
They found her asleep on the floor
She never got into the bathtub
I know, I read her note

I just want her to read this letter
Just to tell her I apologize
I couldn't make her happy
I couldn't dry her eyes

So wherever she is in this world
I hope it's not too far
I hope she wears her smile
It looks so good on her

Jesse, this one is so pretty. I really love the image and I love the end...it really is pretty in a sad sort of way...*hugs you*
