Some one was there

I find myself feeling so deprived of the outside world; so in-able to communicate.
Feeling left out, like a dog behind a locked gate.

I long for a single soul in which I can confide.
Someone I can depend on, someone on my side.

I take a glance around, and find there's no one there.
No one to hold on to, no one that would care.

Praying for a miracle to get me through the day.
Don't think it will happen, for nothing is going my way.

Suddenly I realize that I have overlooked,
over thought, and all it took was one small look.

The person I thought would never come, has been standing right there,
waiting with open arms, to answer my prayer.
