Queen of the Trampoline (Rewrite)

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Nov 9, 2008

I remember once when I was twelve
i said the world could go to hell
i remember when i was three
and there was this girl
and there was me
and she was the queen of the sandbox
and princess of trampoline
and I was king of the waterside
I was king of the swings
And when I close my eyes
She said i could fly
to our sunny castle
in the clouds in the sky
now i sit alone
She forgot a few things
I don't have a plane
And i don't have wings
I cant fly to our castle
I cant fly to you
I cry on this swing set
Cause I believed it was true

So the first half made me smile a lot...it's so innocent and i love that about it. i really really do. the end is so crashing and loss of innocence..it's really sad..
