Love is numb

Falling in love is something wonderful.
something that makes you feel alive.
but for me, falling in love is painful.
taking every happiness in your life.

i can't see the light anymore.
i believe the dark has taken me.
my life has become gray.
and the pain still wont let me be.

my fears of height and falling.
come from this feeling.
fearing to get hurt.
fearing to touch the dirt.

now i fear to close my eyes.
afraid to sleep, afraid to dream.
now i live inside the lies.
knowing my key is to scream.

my screech is not loud enough.
not enough for them to hear.
even though is as loud as a banshee.
and yet still they don't know that i am here.

now my life are blank pages.
not waiting to be filled.
but waiting to be closed.
waiting for the story to end.

not with a happy ending.
not trying to be offending.
but when it does end.
it's all just the end.
